Processing of Personal Data on Our Website
Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. This includes, for example, your name, your address, your telephone number or your date of birth, but also your IP address or geolocation data that can be used to identify you.

Receiver
As part of our processing of personal data, the data may be transmitted to other bodies, companies, legally independent organizational units or persons or disclosed to them. Transfer to third parties outside the EU/EEA
If we process data in a third country (i.e. outside the European Union (EU), the European Economic Area (EEA)) or if the processing takes place in the context of the use of third-party services or the disclosure or transfer of data to other persons, bodies or companies, this will only take place in accordance with the legal requirements.
Subject to express consent or contractually or legally required transfer, we only process or have the data processed in third countries with a recognized level of data protection, contractual obligation through so-called standard protection clauses of the EU Commission, in the presence of certifications or binding internal data protection regulations (Art. 44 to 49 GDPR).
Processors, service providers, cooperation partners
For the provision of our services, we use carefully selected, professional IT service providers, cooperation partners and processors for the storage, administration, and processing of personal data who guarantee adequate protection of your data. In accordance with Art. 28 GDPR, commissioned data processing is always carried out based on a commissioned data processing agreement.
Pictures and Videos
If you visit events or trade fair stands organized by us, photos and videos (including sound recordings) may be taken. These are used to the extent permitted by law in the legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. F GDPR. Photos and video recordings are published in particular on this website and in our social media channels, as well as in print media for the purpose of public relations/information about our activities. Unless expressly regulated by a separate agreement on the use of photo and video material, the data will be stored for a period of 10 years after the end of the event.
The photos/videos documenting the company’s history and activities may be stored for the duration of the company’s existence.
Registration for Events
If you register for an event via our website, the (minimum) information you provide will be processed for the purpose of holding the event and for possible follow-up questions or to fulfill pre-contractual rights and obligations. There is no legal or contractual obligation to provide this personal data. Failure to provide this data will mean that you will not be able to submit your booking and thus participate in the event. As part of this processing activity, we use selected professional IT service providers and processors for the storage and management of personal data.
We generally store data that you have provided to us exclusively in the context of registration for or participation in an event for a period of three years after the end of the event. However, if you so wish, we will also delete your data before this period expires, provided there is no legal obstacle to this.
Business Partners, Customers, Suppliers
Data processing in the context of (pre-)contractual and legal obligations
If you are interested in LOGICDATA products and services and contact us or are or become a LOGICDATA customer, we process your personal data (contact details, company affiliation and job position) in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR to fulfill (pre-)contractual obligations. If required by law, we also process your data to fulfill legal obligations. One of these legal obligations could be, for example, the obligation to keep business papers and documents for at least 7 years (see § 132 BAO). After this period has expired and after 3 years since the last contact, we will delete your personal data.
General information and support of business partners, customers, and suppliers
We use the personal data of our business partners, customers and suppliers, e.g. contact persons, their contact details and marketing-relevant information, not only for the purpose of contract processing and within the scope of legal obligations, but also for marketing and customer care purposes. To improve our services and provide information and advertising, we evaluate the personal data we collect from our customers, cooperation partners and suppliers for statistical and marketing purposes.
We also collect personal data from interested parties (e.g., contact persons, their contact details and marketing-relevant information) in the course of our acquisition and sales activities.
We carry out all the measures listed within “Business Partners, Customers, Suppliers” in our legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f EU GDPR in conjunction with recital 47 for a period of three years from the end of a contractual relationship (customers & suppliers) or our first (unsuccessful) contact (interested parties), unless the data subject has given their express consent beyond this.
If we do not collect personal data for marketing purposes from the data subject themselves, we will inform the data subject of where we have collected this data when they first contact us.
Within the JIECANG Group, personal data is processed within the scope of customer service and marketing (as well as for other purposes) among the various companies abroad, partly jointly and partly within the scope of order processing relationships. Together with these companies, each of which is also a controller within the meaning of the EU GDPR. EU GDPR, we operate a joint ERP system.

If we are to provide products and services that other companies affiliated with us offer as part of an ongoing business relationship or due to an explicit request from an interested party, we pass on the interested party’s personal data to the companies affiliated with us that offer the products and services of interest to the specific data subject for marketing purposes based on a legitimate interest.
We and each of our affiliated companies store data for marketing purposes and for the support of business partners, customers, and suppliers in accordance with the duration described in the section “Storage period”.
Newsletter
Customers, business partners and interested parties have the opportunity to register for our newsletter. With your consent, in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR, we process your personal data (contact details) within our Newsletter tool Brevo (see “Used Tools”) to send you information by e-mail about products, services, and events of the LOGICDATA and JC Group and business partners. If you no longer wish to receive these mailings, you can withdraw your consent at any time by using the Unsubscribe function in the footer of each newsletter you receive. A revocation only applies to future mailings.
Customer Surveys
We regularly conduct customer satisfaction surveys in which we contact our customers’ contact persons individually.
Addressing LinkedIn users via LinkedIn Recruiter and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
As part of the “LinkedIn Sales Navigator” tool, potential applicants and customers are addressed via LinkedIn through messages within LinkedIn. The functionality and methodology are provided by LinkedIn. Only registered LinkedIn users who have accepted LinkedIn’s terms of use and thus consented to this data processing are addressed. LOGICDATA does not decide on the purposes and means of LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or on the specific selection of LinkedIn users contacted. The processing takes place exclusively within LinkedIn and there is no independent storage of personal data.
Whistleblowing System
We operate the whistleblowing system to ensure compliance with our obligations under the Whistleblower Protection Act and in accordance with our values. Whistleblowing is not limited to the scope of application of the HSchG. Personal data is therefore processed within the scope of the HSchG based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR (legal obligation) and outside the scope of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR in our predominantly legitimate interest in equal treatment, anti-discrimination, employee protection and the prevention of consequential damage to the company through loss of reputation, criminal prosecution and claims for damages.
Storage Period
Unless explicitly stated otherwise in this privacy policy or when collecting your data or individual applications (e.g., cookies), we generally store personal data for a period of three years after our last contact. However, we will also delete your data on request before this period expires, provided that there is no legal obstacle to this.
If a contract is initiated or concluded, we will process your personal data after the contract has been fully executed until the expiry of the warranty, limitation and statutory retention periods applicable to us. In the event of legal disputes in which your data is required as evidence, your data will be stored until these are concluded.
We store personal data relating to the use of our website for a period of 3 months. Data will only be stored for longer if this is necessary to investigate attacks on our website.
General Information
Security
We use numerous technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against manipulation, loss, destruction, and access by third parties. Our security measures are constantly improved in line with technological developments on the Internet.
Your Rights
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act, you are entitled to the following rights and legal remedies as a data subject of our data processing, which you should address in writing to datenschutz@logicdata.net:
- Right of Access (Art. 15 EU GDPR): As a data subject of the data processing described above and other data processing, you are entitled to request information about whether and, if so, which personal data about you is being processed. For your protection — so that no unauthorized person receives information about your data — we will verify your identity in a suitable form before providing information.
- Right to Rectification (Art. 16) and Erasure (Art. 17 EU GDPR): You are entitled to obtain without undue delay the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning you or — considering the purposes of the data processing — the completion of incomplete personal data and the erasure of your data, provided that the criteria of Art. 17 EU GDPR are met.
Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 EU GDPR): Subject to the legal requirements, you are entitled to restrict the processing of all personal data collected. This data will only be processed with your individual consent or for the assertion and enforcement of legal claims from the time of the request for restriction. - Right to Data Portability (Art. 20 EU GDPR): You can request the unhindered and unrestricted transfer of personal data that you have provided to us to you or a third party.
- Right to Object (Art. 21 EU GDPR): You may object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to processing of personal data concerning you which is necessary for the purposes of our legitimate interests or those of a third party. Your data will no longer be processed after objection, unless there are compelling legitimate grounds for processing that outweigh your interests, rights, and freedoms or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims. You can object to data processing for the purpose of direct advertising at any time, with effect for the future.
- Withdrawal of Consent: If you have separately given your consent to the processing of your data, you can withdraw this at any time. Such a revocation affects the permissibility of processing your personal data after you have given it to us.
If you take a measure to enforce your rights under the GDPR listed above, we will respond to the requested measure or comply with the request without delay, but at the latest within one month of receipt of your request.

Applicants
LOGICDATA processes personal data provided in the context of an application (via telephone, e-mail or online in the application form) electronically in the recruiting software of eRecruiter GmbH. The data in the recruiting software is stored in Vienna at a hosting partner NextLayer in an ISO 27001-certified data center.
The data that you send us in the course of your application will be processed by us for the purpose of processing your application or for carrying out pre-contractual activities and based on legitimate interest (Art 6 para 1 lit b GDPR).
Storage period
Your data will be deleted after a period of seven months from the end of the application process, unless you consent to it being stored for longer. This enables us to answer any follow-up questions about your application and to comply with our obligations to provide evidence under the Equal Treatment Act. The applicant can extend the storage period for five years by giving the aforementioned consent. The consent given can be revoked at any time by sending an informal email.
Recipients
Applicant data will not be passed on to third parties or marketed by LOGICDATA. Only LOGICDATA employees who are responsible for personnel selection and personnel administration have the right to view the application data.
Data will only be transferred to a third country if the applicant is applying for a position with a LOGICDATA Group company outside Austria. In these cases, the applicant data will be transferred to the company within the LOGICDATA Group to which the application relates in the third country: Zhejiang Jiecang Linear Motion Technology Co, Ltd. or LOGICDATA North America Inc, or in the EU: LOGICDATA Hungary Kft. or Metmo sro.
